When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

1. About the program Sew Sweet Minky Designs ("we," "us," "our") operates a recurring text message program for customers who choose to join. Messages may include new fabric drops and product launches, exclusive discount codes, early access for VIP subscribers, restock notifications, cart reminders, and occasional customer service messages.

Separately from marketing messages, we may send you transactional texts about an order you have placed — for example shipping and delivery updates. Those are sent because you placed an order, not because you joined the marketing program, and they are not affected by opting out of marketing texts.

2. How to join You can join by entering your mobile number in any of our signup forms, including the discount signup popup on sewsweetminkydesigns.com, our VIP First Look signup page, or at checkout. By submitting your number you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from us at that number, sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.

3. Consent is not required to make a purchase Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us. You can shop with us without joining the text program.

4. Message frequency Message frequency varies. We typically send a few messages per month, and more during launches, holidays and promotions.

5. Cost Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge for sending or receiving them depending on your plan. Contact your carrier for details.

6. How to stop You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending marketing texts to that number. You may still receive transactional messages about existing orders.

You can also opt out by emailing support@sewsweetminky.com and asking to be removed from text messaging.

7. How to get help Reply HELP to any message from us for assistance, or email support@sewsweetminky.com. If you are having trouble receiving messages, please check with your mobile carrier first, then contact us.

8. Eligibility The text program is available to residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. By joining, you confirm that you are of eligible age, and that you are the account holder for the mobile number you provide or have the account holder's permission to enroll it.

If your mobile number changes or is reassigned to someone else, please opt out or contact us so we can update our records.

9. Carriers Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

10. Your information We use a third-party messaging platform (Klaviyo) to deliver and manage these messages, which means your mobile number and message activity are processed on our behalf by that provider. 11. Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change to reflect it.
