How to Care for Your Minky Blanket

Your blanket is made to last. With a little care, it’ll stay soft, bright, and cozy for years. Here’s everything you need to know.

Washing

  • Machine wash on cold with no fabric softener
  • Use a mild detergent — no bleach, no fabric softener, no dyes or scents
  • Wash alone or with similar fabrics to prevent pilling

Drying

  • Tumble or line dry with NO heat
  • No heat at all — it damages the fibers and causes matting
  • Remove promptly from the dryer to prevent wrinkles

General Tips

  • Don’t iron directly on the minky surface
  • Store folded or rolled — not compressed under heavy items
  • Pet hair comes off easily with a lint roller
